Had a call from these folk and they wanted to take control of my PC saying that there were viruses affecting it.

Anyone know who they are? I guess it is some sort of scam, so be aware

scam. Its been on the news recently quite a bit as its becoming quite prevalent recently so best hang up after saying whatever has already been recommended above

Thanks folks. The whole thing was a bit weird and the thought of handing over control of my PC to someone who called out of the blue rang very big alarm bells.
