Hi

As part of full rebuild i will be regreasing headstock, swingarm and suspension roller bearings.

I've got a tub of Castrol LM grease, but the telephone number on the sticker from the place I got it is an 01 London code, which I believe changed to 071/081 in 1995.

Does grease go off, is this stuff still gonna be alright to use.

Can't see it going off myself, after all isn't grease based on oil which has been under the ground for millions of years?

That said, I have been know to base my knowledge on nothing more than my own thoughts on a subject Wink

We use grease in the aerospace industry.
If there was a use-by date we'd use one & we don't.

Thumbs Up

Cool,

Cause I wouldn't want to waste the £1.87 it cost, wonder what a tub of castrol LM grease costs in todays new money.

And I was in love with Julie Andrews at age 12. Right up to the moment when someone said she was as sexy as a bottle of TCP.
